Over 40s

Kickboxing Over 40 in Maghull

Starting something new in your forties, fifties or beyond takes a bit of nerve. The good news is that kickboxing is far more forgiving than you would expect, and far more rewarding.

At Paradigm in Maghull, plenty of our members are over 40, and a good number started with us having done nothing active in years. You are not thrown in the deep end. You build fitness, strength and mobility gradually, at a pace that suits your body, with coaches who know exactly how to bring an older beginner along safely.

The benefits go well beyond fitness. It keeps you mobile and mentally sharp, it is a genuinely good stress-reliever, and learning a real skill at this stage of life is far more satisfying than another treadmill session. You will surprise yourself with what you can do.

And it is sociable. The room is friendly and down to earth, there is no ego, and nobody cares that you are starting later than some. If anything, our older members tend to be the ones the rest of the class looks up to for sheer commitment.

Your first class is free and there is no commitment. Come and see how good it feels to start.
